Introduction:

Since the later part of the twentieth century across the world many countries, have been making themselves to establish advanced information, This means that surveillance has grown at an exponential rate, these days all societies are dependent on communication and information technologies, for administrative and control processes and now a days, the most important means of surveillance reside in computer s, which allows collected data to be stored, matched, retrieved, processed, marketed and circulated. Even the data goes beyond more finding numbers names and even DNA codes or photographic images, these technologies helps in technical areas, communication and information in society. Technologies are central to surveillance. Such surveillance is a key feature of modern life, upon which we depend. Surveillance activities can be well intentioned and bring benefits. However people accept the notion of a surveillance society, but when the focus shifts onto personal privacy and anonymity, there behavior tends to change. Richard Thomas, he said that after two years of research he found that people's actions were increasingly being monitored, the researchers highlight’s that "dataveillance" the use of credit card, mobile phone and loyalty card information, and CCTV, have improved dramatically.
However this essay argues advantages of surveillance society on where technology is extensively used to track and record our activities and movements. Such as traveling, use of public services, automated use of CCTV, analysis of buying habits and financial transactions, at the work place monitoring of telephone calls, email and internet use. However on other hand Surveillance is suspicion. Surveillance sometimes makes mistakes and we think to what is happening. these Mistakes can also easily be made with serious consequences like false matches and other cases of mistaken identity, inaccurate facts, suspicions taken as reality and Individuals starts to think and start to discover what happened to their personal information, who handles it, when and for what purpose. However most of the times surveillance is useful for the society and sometimes cannot be trusted.

How surveillance works on society:

It helps us in fighting against terrorism and serious crime, to improve entitlement and access to public and private services, and to improve healthcare. Interestingly most of them are not perfectly aware of the surveillance of society of its laws and regulations, which protect against terrorism and personal safety. for example: Video cameras which watch us everywhere we go in buildings, shopping streets, roads and residential areas. these are automatic systems which recognize number of people. by this we can find.
